The Lady Chapel, Cathedral of St. Patrick
Sciame was the Construction Manager responsible for the restoration of the Lady Chapel, which included fabricating and replacing the marble mosaic floor, cleaning and making spot repairs to the stained-glass windows, and repairing as well as cleaning the cracked stone. All the work was performed while the cathedral was occupied, which required curtailing work around the mass schedule. During the removal of the original marble floor, rusted gas pipes were discovered which had to be replaced before the installation of the new marble could begin. Restorations were also performed for the Chapels of St. Elizabeth, St. Michael and St. Louis.
