Cooper Square Hotel

Sciame was the Construction Manager responsible for the construction of the Cooper Square hotel. The hotel combines luxury service with sophisticated contemporary design to provide “Downtown Luxury.” The building’s design by Carlos Zapata is a geometrically complex reinforced concrete structure with a custom glass and metal curtainwall. The twenty-one story building stands 225 feet. The interior design by Antonio Citterio includes timber ceilings, leather wall coverings, zinc and acid etched metal wall panels, wood wall paneling, operable art glass partitions, interior and exterior stone paving and wide plank wood flooring. The hotel houses 147 luxury hotel rooms, a destination restaurant and a bar.
