Darrin McIntyre

Darrin McIntyre serves as Vice President of Sciame’s MEP Department and brings more than 40 years of construction industry experience to the firm. He joined Sciame in 2003 as an MEP Superintendent, became head of the department in 2006, and helped establish the company’s BIM Department in 2007.

Darrin leads the planning and coordination of complex building systems across a broad range of project types. His work has contributed to major projects including the Perelman Performing Arts Center, The Shed at Hudson Yards, the LeFrak Center at Lakeside, and The Mark Hotel. He has also supported work for institutions such as the Morgan Library & Museum, Princeton University, Cooper Union, Columbia University, Grace Farms, and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.

In addition to his leadership, Darrin has participated in industry organizations focused on construction technology and innovation. He has served on the CMAA National Technology Committee, presented at CMAA conferences, and participated in the NYC DOB BIM Site Safety Program Contractors Advisory Panel. He is also involved with LEAN NYC and the National Institute of Building Sciences BIM Standards program.
