Michael Porcelli

Michael Porcelli joined Sciame in 1987 and has played a key role in delivering many of the firm’s most complex and high-profile projects throughout New York City. With decades of experience managing technically demanding work, he brings deep expertise in construction planning, coordination, and project execution.

Michael has overseen several major developments, including the ground-up construction of The Shed at Hudson Yards, City Tech’s New Academic Complex, the LeFrak Center at Lakeside in Prospect Park, and the New Museum of Contemporary Art designed by SANAA. His experience also includes significant cultural and institutional renovations such as the Museum of Arts & Design, the Museum of the Moving Image, and Pratt Institute’s Higgins Hall Center Section.

He also led the renovation and expansion of the Convent of the Sacred Heart Athletic Facility, contributing to Sciame’s extensive portfolio of cultural and educational projects.

Michael attended Pace University and holds a degree in Construction Management from New York University.
