The Lofts at Greene Street

Sciame was the Construction Manager responsible for the construction and renovation of the Lofts at Greene Street. The project involved the demolition of an existing two story building and the construction of a seven story building comprising 15 luxury loft style apartments and ground floor retail spaces. The building is located in the heart of the historic Soho neighborhood of Manhattan.

The building structure is masonry block and precast concrete plank construction. Use is also made of the existing adjacent part walls to support the precast planks. The interior of the apartments feature exposed brick walls, wood flooring, gas fireplaces in the loft style living areas, stone tile bathrooms, walk-in closets, custom-made Italian kitchens, and state-of-the-art appliances, fixtures, and electronics. Features include central heating and air-conditioning and direct elevator access.

The facade, which replicates traditional turn-of-the-century cast iron construction, blends with the existing Soho streetscape. The duplex penthouse apartments, which are set back form the street, have roof terraces suitable for luxury outdoor living and have extensive views of the New York skyline.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating the season with our valued clients and partners at the annual Sciame Holiday Party. As we approach our 50th Anniversary next year, we’re enormously grateful for your continued trust and collaboration.

Best wishes to you and your family for a very festive and joyful Holiday Season and a very happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year!
