Sciame was the Construction Manager responsible for the construction of a New University Center & Academic Building with Gensler Architects. This 127,000 SF building was designed to enhance learning and student life on the campus. It houses 14 classrooms, 6 seminar rooms, student recreation and entertainment space, a Starbucks Cafe and full-service cafeteria, student organization offices, a Board Room, spacious lobby/living room amenities and banquet facilities.
This state-of-the-art facility offers unique features that include a symbolic torch sculpture which sits atop a 144 foot tower, the highest point of any University structure on campus.
Sciame is honored to have served as the construction manager for the expansion and refurbishment of The Frick Collection, working alongside Selldorf Architects and Beyer Blinder Belle to bring this vision to life. As the museum prepares to reopen next month, we’re pleased to see this project receive high praise in The New York Times from esteemed architecture critic Michael Kimmelman.
