Site #25 Facade & Atrium Upgrade

Sciame was responsible for the removal and replacement of approx. 30,000 SF of existing building envelope area while a 400+ key hotel, the Regal Theater Cinemas, and a food service tenant remain in operation. Facade removals also included large pre-cast concrete brick and granite faced panels, as well as an existing Marquee and canopy removal.

The new scope included re-fitting the newly exposed building areas with a high end curtain wall, storefronts, entrances and canopies. In order to best isolate the interior, Sciame planned and constructed weather walls prior to the existing facade removals which allowed tenant spaces to remain in operation.

In addition to the logistics associated with the 200 West Glass Canopy, significant steps were taken for overhead protection and sequencing the work. Sciame implemented creative solutions to create these work zones which satisfied the required overhead protection while simultaneously reducing the footprint of the actual construction work area.

We had a wonderful evening celebrating the season with our valued clients and partners at the annual Sciame Holiday Party. As we approach our 50th Anniversary next year, we’re enormously grateful for your continued trust and collaboration.

Best wishes to you and your family for a very festive and joyful Holiday Season and a very happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year!
