The Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center at the World Trade Center

Sciame is the Construction Manager for the construction of The Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center located at the World Trade Center. The Perelman Center will produce theater, dance, music, film, opera and multidisciplinary works while offering a range of amenities for visitors and residents in the Lower Manhattan community.

The 128,000 SF building will hold three theaters (499, 250 and 99 seats) separated by moveable, acoustic guillotine walls allowing for eleven different arrangements of the theater space – including one 1,200 seat arrangement. The translucent façade includes thin, book-matched marble stone laminated within insulated glass allowing both natural and interior lighting to filter through its surface. In addition to performance support areas (i.e. trap, dressing rooms, musician rooms, etc.), the public will have access to a new restaurant/bar.
