
Rob Cortiglia joined Sciame in 2003 after working as a Project Engineer at Whiting-Turner Contracting. Since then, he has led projects across the cultural, educational, commercial, and retail sectors, building strong relationships with clients while maintaining Sciame’s high standards of quality and execution.
Rob’s portfolio includes the expansion and renovation of the Museum of the Moving Image, the construction of the Perelman Performing Arts Center, and modernization work within the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s chilled water plant. He also contributed to The Shed at Hudson Yards and the installation of the BMW Guggenheim Lab.
Beyond cultural work, Rob has managed the transformation of 401 West 14th Street into a high-end commercial destination, the interior fit-out of Apple Williamsburg, the rehabilitation of the UJA headquarters building, and Princeton University’s Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment.
Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Pace University.
