Robert DaRos

Robert DaRos, Jr., joined Sciame in 1999 and has managed a diverse portfolio of projects throughout New York City across the cultural, academic, commercial, and luxury retail sectors.

His experience includes the Roy and Diana Vagelos Education Center at Columbia University, the 51 Astor Place office tower, and the Sperone Westwater Gallery on the Bowery. Rob also directed the restoration of Central Synagogue, one of Manhattan’s most significant historic religious landmarks.

Rob has extensive experience delivering technically complex academic facilities, including the LEED Platinum Cooper Union academic building designed by Thom Mayne of Morphosis. He also managed the multi-phase modernization of the office tower at 335 Madison Avenue for Milstein Properties, which included infrastructure upgrades, new amenity spaces, and tenant interiors.

In addition to institutional work, Rob has overseen high-end retail projects for luxury brands including Dior and Louis Vuitton. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Fordham University and pursued architectural studies at Pratt Institute.
