Sciame was the Construction Manager responsible for the offshoot of the High Line known as the Spur. Located adjacent to the Hudson Yards development, this part of the High Line passes under the 10 Hudson Yards tower and continues out over the intersection of 10th avenue and 30th street.
Breaking from the typical High Line precast concrete paving, this portion of the park is primarily architectural cast-in-place concrete. A passage through the canopy of 10 Hudson Yards leads into a piazza with the size to exhibit large art exhibitions and performances. Catering to the large crowds that the High Line attracts, two new staircases, concession services for food vendors and a concrete building with lavatories has been added. The building has a sloping roof planter, nicknamed the “Tilt”, which holds 60 trees.

The Perelman Performing Arts Center will provide versatile layouts across three theater spaces, which can be combined to offer a range of seating configurations. Additionally, the venue will feature a lobby level complete with a bar, café, terrace, and stage.
