Sciame was the Construction Manager responsible for the construction of a four-story private residence in the heart of Manhattan’s West Village, located at the corner of Perry and Washington Streets, which originally housed a two-story parking garage.
The exterior featured a tan brick facade with stepped jambs and bronze-hued paneling. The red terracotta envelope consisted of 1,886 units of custom-stacked and intricately woven hand-pressed bricks. Additionally, there are 172 units of RAM-pressed red terracotta bricks and 88 TerraClad panel units to further elevate the building’s appeal. The northern end of the property displays dark bronze-hued paneling surrounding a glass curtain wall. The ground floor includes granite paneling that encloses the base of the building, enhancing the overall aesthetic.
Furthermore, the property features a curated garden, complete with cast bronze planters arranged in a double-tiered layout. The rooftop, a focal point of the property, features a landscaped deck that offered panoramic views of the neighborhood.
